After many months of organising by the DC (and company and county staff) we are now pleased to announce that Mildenhall Detachment are now sponsored by 1 Royal Tank Regiment.
1RTR are based at RAF Honington and will give us direct access to the regiment, training, equipment and have a desire to be involved as much as possible. The detachment is only the 8th detachment to be sponsored by 1RTR and is the nearest to their base (next being Oldham).
Cadets AND instructors will now wear the famous black beret, black belts and black rank slides.
